I collect the most impressive street art from all over the world.
Street art decorates the streets throughout the world. Urban graffiti may be the first type that comes to mind, but street art actually comes in many different forms, from sculpture to 'yarn bombing', and is also found in a variety of environments.
I have compiled the works of our favorite street artists for this article, from famous faces you know to unknown ones that you want to know more about. Some just want to enlighten their environment, while others have to make political statements. But whatever their motivation, we think what they produce is quite extraordinary.
01. Sonora

Sonora was painted on the Arizona / Mexico border to open dialogue through art
Hazard, aka Harriet Ford, is a British street artist whose work can be identified from his bold and peaceful portrayal of women with detailed hair and headdresses.
Sonora (2017) was painted in a warehouse in the abandoned mining town of Ajo on the Arizona / Mexico border. This is part of a crowdfunded project, which is designed to create dialogue through significant artistic residencies at significant times. With a headdress adorned with wildlife from the Sonoran desert, the woman's character represents a peaceful Mexican woman.
02. 16th Avenue Tiled Steps

The steps in San Francisco have a sea-to-sky theme
The 16th Avenue Tiled Steps is a community project that was completed in 2005. Inspired by the famous Selarón steps in Rio de Janeiro, neighborhood residents chose artists Aileen Barr and Collette Crutcher to collaborate on design in 163 mosaic panels.
The stairs have a sea-to-sky theme and the locals sponsor hand-made tiles in the form of animals, fish and shells. Three mosaic workshops are held in the community so that everyone can help in the creation of this amazing street art.
03. Cryptik

This work on the lower east side of New York translates to 'Love your neighbor'
Los Angeles-based artist Cryptik is best known for his calligraphic approach to street art. Much of his work is based on ancient sacred texts and eastern philosophy, with echoes of intricate geometric patterns found in Muslim art and architecture. Everything is made with the undoubted touch of street art, making it the perfect blend of ancient and modern. The aim is to help humanity develop towards greater awareness and understanding.
04. Cobras

This colorful David was painted directly onto marble in an Italian mine
This colorful portrait of David is the work of Eduardo Kobra, a Brazilian street artist from the southern side of São Paulo. The design was painted directly onto marble in a mine in Carrara, Italy, where Michelangelo and other artists discovered the marble used in their statues. Cobra has been a graffiti artist since he was a teenager, and in 2016 his mural for the Rio Olympics made him a record for the largest mural in the world - a record he has since beaten.
05. D * Face

DEFace's epic street art covers the Las Vegas hotel side
London-based artist Dean Stockton (also known as D * Face) creates works inspired by the things he loved since childhood - skate graphics, album art, and cartoons - and some of his work is clearly indebted to pop artist Roy Lichtenstein. One example is Behind Closed Doors; and epic artwork found on the side of the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas. The design cleverly uses the shape of the building to provide a deeper sense of mural.
06. Reskate Studio
The Harreman project, by Barcelona-based Reskate Studio, uses light-in-dark paint to create street art with hidden depths. Each artwork in this series shows one image during the day, while the others are revealed when it gets dark. "The aim is to try to illuminate the dark corners of the city, both installing new lights and encouraging residents to interact with the walls, paint with light on it," read the description on the studio's website. This work, Asombrar, was created for Fisart Romania in 2015.
07. Dulk

Dulk's street art is filled with surrealist creatures
Antonio Segura Donat, or Dulk, grew up copying exotic animal illustrations from his parents' old encyclopedias, and used to carry his sketchbook everywhere with him. After studying illustration and then graphic design, today he works as a multidisciplinary artist dealing with drawing, painting, sculpture, and advertising, but this is a large-scale street art, which displays surrealist creatures in imaginary landscapes, which really stand out.
08. Mobstr

Mobstr is a multi-talented street artist with strong lines on fake billboards, but it's his progress that we really like. Documented in a series of photos, he plays a fantastic mind game with poor souls whose job is to clean graffiti on the streets, using little more than just a stencil letter.
09. Arrogant

Glasgow-based street artist Smug specializes in photorealistic graffiti, and the city of Scotland has become a borderless canvas thanks to a council-funded mural initiative. After taking spray painting more than a decade ago, the artist has developed a unique and alluring style - which is given entirely with free hands. His detailed and meticulous work can be seen changing walls throughout Britain and Europe, and Australia.
10. Mario Celedon

The cultural capital of Chile, Valparaiso is home to many talented artists, including Mario Celedon. Famous for its extraordinary street art, Celedon's colorful and detailed paintings can be seen in various locations around the city, but our favorite artwork should be a complicated illustration at these steps.
11. Ernest Zacharevic

Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic brought fine art techniques to the great outdoors. Exploring a multitude of media, from installation and sculpture to oil paints, stencils and spray paint, Zacharevic's experiment eliminates artistic boundaries.
Based in Penang, Malaysia, the artist first attracted global attention in 2012 after creating a series of murals for the Georgetown Festival, so the BBC called him Malaysia's answer to Banksy. Since then, his Georgetown mural has become a cultural landmark and his work can be seen from Singapore to LA.
12. Peeta

Italian street artist, Manuel Di Rita, known as the Peeta moniker, is known for his 3D graffiti. Using color gradients, the 2D street art gives the impression of several dimensions, creating the illusion of sculpture, rather than painting. In addition, the artist creates street art sculptures inspired by graffiti.
Since it first started making street art in 1993, Peeta has traveled the world, spending a lot of time in Canada and the US. After gaining a lot of experience as a graffiti artist in Europe and America, he started painting canvas and now runs his own business selling canvas and sculpture.
13. Phlegm

Phlegm painting and placing illustrations throughout the world
Sheffield-based Phlegm started a self-published comic before taking this detailed illustration style to the streets. This British artist creates a surrealist image, a storybook style, working only in monochrome. Every street art piece is part of a grand narrative that stretches across the world, from Canada to Australia.
14. MrDheo

Mr Dheo dedicates himself to photorealism, mixed with graphic components
Mr Dheo has no formal artistic training, and this is what he believes has helped him develop his own techniques and develop without direct influence. The bold graphic style of Portuguese artists suitable for graffiti art; bigger is better. MrDheo's street art has appeared in more than 30 international cities, and he has collaborated with a number of major brands and companies.
15. MVM Graphics

Moore W. Moore has painted geometric murals for more than half of his life
Boston-based artist Matt W Moore - who runs MVM Graphics - has painted on the wall for more than half of his life. "This is a magical experience to actualize extra large ideas in public spaces," he smiled. "There's a lot to see in this section. Everything from the early years of graffiti and street art, to newer abstract murals. Inside and outside, I've protected you."
16. Mademoiselle Maurice

This impressive street art was created to mark the opening of the Urban Nation contemporary art museum in Berlin. This is the work of visual artist Mademoiselle Maurice, and displays a flock of 3D birds that are turned on in metal origami.
17. Herbert Baglione

Scary creations for asylums left in Parma, Italy
Herbert Baglione is a Brazilian street artist. One very striking project, entitled 1000 Shadows, saw him add his stamp to an abandoned mental hospital in Parma, Italy. Balione creates eerie shadows all over the floors, walls and doors of buildings, often interacting with wheelchairs left behind to be creepy.
