BUILDING PERSPECTIVE
House Construction
Light steel metal roof frame
As a building, a house in the form of a room is limited by walls and roofs. The house has an entrance in the form of a door with additional windows. House floors are usually in the form of land, tiles, babut, ceramics, or other material. Modern style houses usually have these elements. The room in the house is divided into several spaces that function specifically, such as swimming pools, work spaces, study rooms, gardens, gym, laundry room, laboratory, pantry, library, playroom, playground, fish pond, music room, room prayer, bedroom, bathroom, toilet (WC), dining room, kitchen, family room, living room, garage, warehouse, terrace and yard.
Houses have a variety of models and various types of designs, in addition to a minimalist home model, there are also several other home models such as contemporary home models, traditional houses and modern home models. In addition to having a variety of house models today also have a standard size, such as type 36 house, type 45 house, type 54 house.
RIGHT-SIDE VIEW
Energy efficiency
Construction of a good home must pay attention to energy use efficiency. Energy-efficient home construction in tropical Indonesia is not as complex as home construction in subtropical countries, because there are no extreme seasonal changes. Energy requirements for lighting, insulation, ventilation, air conditioning, etc. are not as big as houses in countries with four seasons. Energy efficiency can be maximized by using natural lighting during the day, proper lighting layout, use of energy-saving lamps, heating and ventilation on walls, selecting roofs that do not absorb heat, and using energy-efficient electrical equipment.
In the design of energy-efficient homes, including all building designs that are environmentally friendly, by minimizing renewable energy use and optimizing the use of natural energy. Limited natural resources make the construction of energy-efficient homes increasingly relevant from now on.
FRONT LOOK
Earthquake protection
In accordance with Law No. 28 of 2002 concerning Building Buildings, each building must meet safety requirements, one of which is protection against earthquakes. This needs to be considered because Indonesia is located in the southeast of the Pacific Ring of Fire so that almost all of its regions have high seismic and volcanic activity. Data shows that on average each year ten earthquakes occur which cause considerable damage in Indonesia.
The main principles of earthquake resistant house buildings are symmetrical house plans, lightweight material selection, and adequate load restraint construction systems. Structural elasticity is emphasized to prevent building collapse. Earthquake forces can only be held by a continuous structural system (continuous force path) from the top of the building to the ground.
Home Function
In daily activities, people are usually outside the home to work, go to school or do other activities. The activities most often carried out in the house are rest and sleep. The rest, the house serves as a place of activity between family members or friends, both inside and outside the yard.
The house can function as a place to enjoy a comfortable life, a place to rest, a family gathering place, and a place to show the social level in the community.
